It is the legitimate organization through which students express their opinions and aspirations and through which they practice all student activities within the framework of authentic university traditions, values, and which takes care of their interests and is based on organizing student activity, ensuring its practice, and representing students before the concerned authorities.

Objectives of the Student Union


  1. Working to prepare student cadres capable of assuming responsibility, consolidating national awareness, and upholding the value of belonging
  2. Motivating students to practice student activities
  3. Refining students’ talents and developing their abilities and skills for the benefit of the student
  4. Representing students at home and abroad, defending their interests and rights in a way that does not violate university traditions and values, and communicating with various parties to provide and improve the services provided to them
  5. Strengthening ties between students, faculty, support staff, and workers
  6. Developing and deepening the spiritual and moral foundations and principles through team work
  7. Facilitate students’ practice of expressing their opinions freely regarding various issues
  8. Encouraging the establishment of student families to develop skills and support student innovations and creativity without discrimination by sect, religion, sect, party, or any other reason
  9. Organizing all student activities and encouraging distinguished students
  10. Supporting the student’s personality by enabling him to think freely
  11. Developing and organizing student projects and programs that serve the goals of the university or college and contribute positively to building and developing society
  12. Work to highlight meaningful societal values ​​and adherence to university traditions in all activities

Conditions for applying for candidacy for membership in union committees


  • He must have the nationality of the Arab Republic of Egypt
  • He must be of good conduct and good reputation.
  • To be a newcomer in his study group
  • The student must be a newcomer and has not failed more than two of the courses he registered last year for credit hour system students
  • To have documented student activity at the university or college in the field of the committee for which he is nominated, except for first-year university students
  • The student must not have been previously sentenced to a felony or a freedom-restricting penalty for a crime prejudicial to honor or honesty, unless his reputation has been restored
  • The student must not have been previously disciplined with one of the penalties stipulated in clauses 5 to 13 of Article 126 of the executive regulations of the Universities Organization Law
  • The student must not belong to any terrorist organization, entity, or group established in violation of the law
