Vision of the Department
It is to be distinguished in study of economic, social and rural environmental phenomena to achieve sustainable development and human development through contribution in preparation of a graduate capable of competition in labor market.
Mission of the Department
1- To abide by academic quality criteria in educational and research fields of various specializations at the department (agricultural economy, rural community, and agricultural guidance), in order to achieve student’s diversity of knowledge and skills through curricula in undergraduate stage and specialized programs in postgraduate stage so that he can do tasks of his future work.
2- To seek more comprehensive solutions to rural, social, economic and environmental problems through offering economic, social and guidance consultations, and to prepare and organize symposiums and guidance convoys to improve economic, social and environmental conditions of rural people.
