Vision of the Department
Vision of the Department is based on vision of the Faculty. It is to be a distinguished academically accredited Faculty in general agricultural production at the local, regional and international levels, and to offer educational, research and social service to students and community members in the field of land and water.
Mission of the Department
Department of Land and Water at Faculty of Agriculture at Tanta University seeks to prepare qualified cadres in order to maximize the return of Land and Water Unit, to narrow the food gap, to disseminate awareness and knowledge about sustainable agricultural development, to keep the environment and to prepare applied research for serving and developing community at the local and international levels and achieving active participation between community and the Department through symposiums, inquiries and disseminating awareness for farmers to maximize agricultural production.
