Department of Horticulture
Aims of the Department
Continuous development of academic standards of General Division Program and horticulture curricula in the bylaw.
To prepare outstanding cadres of graduates capable of competing in local and regional markets.
To develop abilities and skills of human resources at the Faculty including faculty members, assistant staff and administrative and technical personnel.
To raise the level of scientific research quality and to affirm entity of the Department as a scientific research center.
To follow up graduates and to seek to increase their level through training courses and workshops.
To plan for preparation of unique scientific programs in the field of horticulture in the light of national standards of academic programs.
To cooperate with Faculty departments, other faculties and research centers in conducting joint research that serves community.
To support special units that offer experience and technical consultations related to growing horticultural crops in order to participate in solving agricultural problems in community while keeping the environment.
