Public Defense of the PhD Dissertation Submitted by Researcher Abdu Mohamed Abdu El-Masry

    At the Faculty of Agriculture, under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad Al-Gammal, Faculty Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Department of Agricultural Engineering —headed by Prof. Assaad Derbala — held the public defense of the PhD dissertation submitted by researcher Abdu Mohamed Abdu El-Masry, registered for the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences (Agricultural Mechanization) at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

Dissertation Title:

(Development and Manufacture of the Palm Dates Cleaning Unit Using Ozone Technology)

   The committee discussed the researcher on the content of the dissertation. The researcher successfully answered all questions. The committee recommended awarding the researcher the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences (Agricultural Mechanization).

   The defense was attended by Prof. Adel Helal, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; academic staff members, teaching assistants and postgraduate students from the department and the faculty, the researcher’s family and friends.
