As part of Tanta University’s efforts, led by Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, University President, to enhance cooperation and develop relations with external community partners, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed today, 9 August 2025, at Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

   The memorandum was signed between the Afro-Asian Friendship Association, affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and chaired by Mr. Nasr Mostafa Ali (Chairman of the Board), and Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, led by Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud (Faculty Dean).

   This step is considered a response to a shared desire to strengthen the cooperation and consolidate the relations between Tanta University, represented by its Faculty of Agriculture, and the Afro-Asian Cultural Friendship Association, registered under No. 7999 with the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The dean expressed his great pleasure with this agreement, welcoming and encouraging further cooperation between external community partners and Faculty of Agriculture, to prepare and qualify cadre capable of advancing human and scientific resources and promoting Egyptian agriculture.

  The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Adel Helal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
