At Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud –Faculty Dean, and Prof. Adel Helal – Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, received on the morning of Saturday, May 24, 2025, the members of the Permanent Scientific Committee for reviewing scientific production for occupying the positions of professors and assistant professors in the specialty of Land and Agricultural Engineering at faculties of agriculture at Egyptian universities. This is the fourteenth session of the committee formed by the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), which is held monthly to discuss the requests submitted for promotion.

   The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ahmed Abdel Qader Ali Taha – Committee Rapporteur, and the secretariat was Prof. Gamal El-Din Mohamed Nasr Abdel Rahman.

The meeting was attended by committee members:

• Prof. Ibrahim Nassar Abdel Hady Nassar – Professor at Faculty of Agriculture, Damanhour University.

• Prof. El-Hosseiny Abdel Ghaffar El-Sayed Abu Hussein – Professor at Faculty of Agriculture, Menoufia University.

• Prof. Ehab Mohamed Farid Abdel Samea – Professor at Faculty of Agriculture, Benha University.

• Prof. Saleh Mahmoud Ismail Ibrahim – Professor at Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University.

   Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, expressed his pleasure to host the committee at Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University this month. The committee was received by members of the Department of Land and Water Council at the faculty, members of the Department of Agricultural Engineering Council, and many department heads and academic staff members at faculty.
