A seminar titled "Entrepreneurship in Agricultural Projects" was organized on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in cooperation between Tanta University and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, University President, and Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

    The seminar was held at Faculty of Agriculture led by Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. Adel Helal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in collaboration with the University’s Social Solidarity Unit headed by Dr. Reham El-Sawah.

Distinguished speakers included:

• Prof. Sobhy Abdel Rahim Hamed, Head of Plant Protection (Pesticides) Department and Executive Manager of the Pesticide Traders’ Training Course at Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. Amgad El-Gamal, Head of Crops Department and Manager of Entrepreneurship Unit at Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

The seminar was organized by the Social Solidarity Unit’s volunteer team and the Student Union, with Dr. Hanaa Naseem, Director of the Public Relations and Media Unit at the Faculty of Agriculture, serving as the seminar coordinator.
