Upon the kind invitation of the Wheat Research Department at El-Gemeiza Agricultural Research Center, a delegation from Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, participated in the Field Day celebration held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. The delegation included several professors representing various specializations within the faculty:

• Prof. El-Sayed El-Saeedi – Professor of Crops

• Prof. Hassan El-Dahabi – Professor of Plant Pathology

• Prof. Nabil El-Shaeiry – Professor of Plant Physiology

• Prof. Emad Rashwan – Professor of Crops

• Prof. Shaimaa Salah – Assistant Professor of Agricultural Engineering

• Dr. Zeinab – Assistant Lecturer of Crops

• Mr. Abdel Fattah – International Ph.D. student from Libya, Department of Soil

    This participation took place within the framework of directives from Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Adel Helal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, to strengthen research collaboration with agricultural research centers across Egypt.

     The Field Day featured the celebration of the project aimed at breeding four high-yielding, disease-resistant wheat varieties. The project is funded by the Science, Technology & Development Fund (STDF).
