"Religion and Life Between Reality and Change – 100 Changes for the Love of Egypt", a Seminar at Tanta University

In the light of the cooperation between Tanta University and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and His Eminence Prof. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar; a religious and cultural seminar was held under the title:

"Religion and Life Between Reality and Change – 100 Changes for the Love of Egypt."

    The event was hosted by Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. Adel Helal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and coordinated by Prof. Amal Abdel Sattar, Executive Manager of Public and Community Service.

The seminar featured lectures by:

• Prof. Islam Deif Allah – Head of the Department of Textual Fatwas and Member of the Al-Azhar Global Center for Electronic Fatwa.

• Prof. Samy Haggag – Supervisor of the Bayan (Explanation) Unit and Member of the Al-Azhar Center for Electronic Fatwa.

     The event was attended by a distinguished group of academic staff members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, undergraduate students from all academic levels, and postgraduate students. The seminar was organized by the "For Egypt" student group and the Student Union of Faculty of Agriculture.
