Prof. Essawi Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, received a delegation from the Malaysia-Japan University – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The delegation was accompanied by Prof. Mustafa El-Sheikh, Professor of Botany at Faculty of Science, former Tanta University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Tanta University Representative in the Agreement of the Project Funded by JICA of the Malaysia-Japan University.

   The delegation included 3 Malaysian postgraduate students, the Japanese supervisor and the Malaysian supervisor. The meeting was attended by Prof. Sherif Gabr, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Adel Helal, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Ibrahim Mesbah, former Faculty Dean; who welcomed the esteemed guests.
