President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has issued a republican decree appointing Prof. Essawy Kassem Mahmoud Rezk as Dean of Faculty of Agriculture at Tanta University.

   It is worth noting that Prof. Essawy Kassem gained a Bachelor’s degree in Soil and Water from Alexandria University in 1993, followed by a Master’s degree in the same field from Alexandria University in 1997, and a PhD degree in Soil Chemistry from Alexandria University in 2003.

   Prof. Essawy began his academic career as an Assistant Lecturer in 1999, advancing to Lecturer in 2003, and then to Assistant Professor in 2009. He was promoted to Professor in 2014 and served as Head of Department of Land and Water in 2009. Additionally, he held the position of Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs in 2015.
