With pride and a sense of accomplishment, the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, led by Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Adel Helal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, celebrated today, Sunday, August 30, 2026, the conclusion of the activities of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Amgad El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, along with a number of faculty members, administrative staff, and students of the faculty.
The ceremony began with a welcoming speech delivered by the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in which he highlighted the sector’s most notable achievements and community and development activities throughout the academic year. He also expressed his appreciation to all attendees, each by name and capacity, for their contributions and for creating strong relationships with the external community and partner companies, which played an active role in training students and enhancing the faculty’s image, thereby strengthening the stature of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.
In his address, Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, affirmed the importance of the faculty’s community role and commended the Environmental Sector team for its integrated teamwork. The ceremony also featured a speech by the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, who expressed his appreciation for the outstanding performance of the sector’s team and the contributions of each of its members toward strengthening the faculty’s leading role in serving the surrounding community.
The event concluded with honoring faculty members, administrative staff, and students in recognition of their outstanding efforts and active participation.
