At the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad Abdel Ghaffar El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and hosted by the Department of Plant Protection, chaired by Prof. Sobhy Abdel Rahim Hamed, Professor and Head of the Department of Plant Protection, the public defense of the master's thesis submitted by Researcher Ahmed Ali Mahmoud Abu Saida, a candidate for the Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences in Plant Protection (Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology), was held on Tuesday, 21 July 2026.
Thesis Title:
Determination of Some Pesticide Residues in Major Vegetables Using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
During the defense, the researcher delivered a presentation outlining the content of the thesis. The Judgement and Discussion Committee thoroughly discussed the research, and the candidate successfully addressed all questions raised. The committee commended both the quality of the presentation and the scientific merit of the thesis and recommended awarding the researcher the Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences (Plant Protection – Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology).
The defense was attended by faculty members, teaching assistants, researchers, postgraduate students from the department, the faculty, and the Agricultural Research Center, as well as the researcher's family and friends.
