Qualifying Examination Held for Researcher Shimaa Mohamed Al-Shora

   At the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, under the leadership of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad Abdel Ghaffar El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the PhD qualifying examination for researcher Shimaa Mohamed Al-Shora, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Genetics at the faculty and a PhD candidate registered at the Department of Genetics, was held on the morning of Sunday, 28 June 2026.

The Qualifying Examination Committee comprised the following distinguished professors:

• Prof. Ayman Hanafy Abdel Azim Atta — Professor of Genetics, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University.

• Prof. Medhat Eraky El-Dinary — Professor of Genetics, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. Ahmed Mansour El-Zohairy — Professor of Genetics and Bioinformatics, Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University. 

• Prof. Mohamed Abo Bakr Hassan — Professor of Genetics, Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University.

• Prof. Amgad Abdel Ghaffar El-Gammal — Professor of Crops and Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. Essam Mohamed El-Baaly — Professor of Agricultural Extension, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. Ramadan Abdel Monem Bakr — Professor of Plant Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture, Menoufia University.

   The committee unanimously decided that the researcher had successfully passed the qualifying examination after demonstrating excellent performance in answering the questions and showing a comprehensive understanding of her research topic and its related themes. The committee also commended her distinguished performance and her mastery of the subject of her study.

   Congratulations to the researcher, with our sincere wishes for her continued scientific achievements. We also extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude to the esteemed examination committee and the supervisory committee.
