Oral Qualifying Examination Held for Assistant Lecturer Mahmoud Abu El-Magd, Registered for the PhD Degree in Agricultural Sciences

   At the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad El-Gamal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and hosted by the Department of Land and Water under the chairmanship of Prof. Nasser Ibrahim Kamal, the oral qualifying examination for Assistant Lecturer Mahmoud Abu El-Magd, registered for the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences (Soils), was held on the morning of Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Qualifying Examination Committee:

• Prof. Essawy Qasem Mahmoud — Professor of Soil Chemistry and Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. El-Metwally Mostafa Selim — Professor of Soil Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, Damietta University, and Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

• Prof. Adel Mohamed Helal — Professor of Agricultural Engineering and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. Nasser Ibrahim Kamal Abdel Qader — Professor of Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition and Head of the Department of Land and Water, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. Hassan Mohamed El-Zahaby — Professor of Plant Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. Mohamed Bassim Atta — Professor of Food Chemistry and Analysis, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.

• Prof. Nehal Abou El-Fotouh Ali — Professor of Physics and Engineering Mathematics, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University.

   The esteemed committee unanimously decided that the researcher had successfully passed the qualifying examination after demonstrating excellent performance in answering the questions and displaying comprehensive knowledge of his research topic and its related subjects. The committee commended his distinguished performance and his strong command of the field of study.
