At the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad El-Gamal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and hosted by the Department of Land and Water, chaired by Prof. Nasser Ibrahim Kamal; the public defense of the master’s thesis submitted by researcher Sara Ayman Mostafa El-Naggar — Demonstrator at the Department of Land and registered for the Master’s degree of Agricultural Sciences (Soils Specialization) — was held on Sunday, 3 May 2026.
The Supervision Committee comprised:
• Prof. Ahmed Abdel Fattah El-Baroudi — Professor of Soil Pedology, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University (Main Supervisor).
• Prof. Mohamed Kamal Abdel Fattah — Professor of Soil Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University.
• Asst. Prof. Mohamed Soliman Shokr — Assistant Professor of Soil Pedology, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University.
The Judgment and Discussion Committee comprised:
• Prof. Talaat Rezk El-Beshbishy — Emeritus Professor of Plant Nutrition, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University (Internal Examiner and Chairman).
• Prof. Abdel Aziz Belal Abdel Motaleb — Professor of Soil Sciences and Acting President of the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (External Examiner).
• Prof. Ahmed Abdel Fattah El-Baroudi — Professor of Soil Pedology, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University (Representative of the Supervision Committee).
The committee thoroughly discussed the content of the thesis with the researcher, and she successfully responded to all questions. The committee commended the excellence of the thesis in both content and value and recommended awarding the researcher the Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences (Soils Specialization).
The defense was attended by Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, along with a number of distinguished professors from the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, faculty members, teaching assistants, postgraduate students of the department and the faculty, as well as the researcher’s family and colleagues.
