Under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud — Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture — and under the supervision of Prof. Rania Ahmed Mohamed — Academic Supervisor of the FAO Model — and within the framework of the continuous efforts to bridge the gap between academic study and practical application, the FAO Model at the Faculty (FA MODEL TU) organized an educational field visit for students to the Research and Measurements Center at Tanta University.
The delegation was received by Prof. Eman El-Khatib — General Supervisor of the Scientific Research and Measurements Center. The visit started with introductory sessions that covered the following:
• The Center’s Vision: Its role as a cornerstone of scientific research within the university.
• Specialized Units: A detailed overview of each unit’s functions and the services they provide to researchers and students.
• Training Opportunities: A presentation of the training programs available to qualify students for the labor market.
In addition, the visit included an inspection tour of all the center’s units, where students had the opportunity to closely explore advanced scientific equipment and gain a deeper understanding of their operating mechanisms and various applications in agricultural and environmental fields.
