In line with the Faculty of Agriculture at Tanta University's commitment to the continuous application of quality systems, ongoing performance improvement, and adherence to ISO standards — under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty — the third visit by the Arab Company for Engineering Consultations and Systems took place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. This visit aimed to monitor ISO implementation activities at the faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year.

   A workshop titled "Concepts of Quality Systems According to International Standards" was conducted by Dr. Mohamed Amin, the company's consultant. He reviewed the fundamental concepts of quality systems in accordance with international standards, along with mechanisms for their application within educational institutions to ensure efficiency and excellence in performance.

The meeting was attended by:

• Prof. Nasser Ibrahim Kamal, Quality Consultant at the faculty

• Dr. Mahmoud Samir El-Sharqawi, Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit at the faculty

• Mr. Said Mahrous, Faculty Secretary-General

In addition to the ISO coordinators from the academic staff and teaching assistants, as well as the managers of units and departments at the faculty.

    This visit forms part of a series of training sessions and workshops designed to support the quality management system, implement ISO standards at the faculty, and foster a concept of quality among all staff — contributing to the realization of the faculty's mission and sustainable institutional excellence objectives.
