At the Faculty of Agriculture – Tanta University, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and hosted by the Department of Agricultural Engineering chaired by Prof. Assaad Derbala, the public defense of the PhD Dissertation submitted by researcher Mohamed Mostafa Mahmoud Eid was held on Monday, 9 February 2026.
The researcher is registered for the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences — Agricultural Engineering, and his dissertation is entitled: “Treating and Reusing Greywater for Irrigating Landscapes”

The Committee thoroughly discussed the dissertation, and the researcher successfully responded to all questions raised. The committee commended the dissertation for its distinguished academic quality and substantive contribution, and recommended that the researcher be awarded the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences — Agricultural Engineering.
The defense was attended by faculty members, teaching assistants, postgraduate students of the department and the faculty, as well as the researcher’s family and friends.
