At the Faculty of Agriculture – Tanta University, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and hosted by the Department of Agricultural Engineering chaired by Prof. Assaad Derbala, the public defense of the PhD Dissertation submitted by researcher Mohamed Asran Sultan Shaiboob was held on Wednesday, 11 February 2026.

    The researcher is registered for the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences — Agricultural Mechanization, and his dissertation is entitled:

“Manufacture and Performance Evaluation of the Cutting System for the Machine Shredding Orchard Tree Remnants”

   The defense was attended by faculty members, teaching assistants, postgraduate students of the department and the faculty, as well as the researcher’s family and friends.
