Public Defense of the PhD Dissertation Submitted by Researcher Ayman Samir Othman El-Abd

    At the Faculty of Agriculture – Tanta University, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and hosted by the Department of Agricultural Engineering chaired by Prof. Assaad Derbala, the public defense of the PhD Dissertation submitted by researcher Ayman Samir Othman El-Abd was held on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

    The researcher is registered for the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences — Agricultural Engineering, and his dissertation is entitled:

“Applications of Nanotechnology in Irrigation Water Treatment”

    The Committee thoroughly examined the dissertation, and the researcher responded to all questions confidently and successfully. The committee commended the dissertation for its distinguished academic quality and substantive contribution and recommended awarding the researcher the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences — Agricultural Engineering.

   The defense was attended by faculty members, teaching assistants, postgraduate students of the department and the faculty, as well as the researcher’s family and friends.
