Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture — Tanta University, received in his office on the morning of Sunday, 8 February 2026, accompanied by the Vice Deans for Community Service and Environmental Development, Education and Student Affairs, and Postgraduate Studies, a distinguished group of esteemed guest professors. The visit was honored by the presence of:

• Prof. Ezz El-Din Omar Abu Steit — Former Minister of Agriculture

• Prof. Metwally Selim — Vice President of Damietta University for Community Service and Environmental Development

• Prof. Mahmoud Selim — Tanta University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development

   This visit took place on the sidelines of the convening of the qualifying examination committee for the PhD degree at the Department of Agricultural Botany, as well as the opening of the Discounted Products Exhibition at the Faculty of Agriculture, within the framework of the faculty’s role in supporting scientific activities, community service, and environmental development.
