Public Defense of the PhD Dissertation Submitted by Researcher Hussein Mohamed Hussein

   At the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad Al-Gammal, Faculty Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the Department of Animal Production — headed by Prof. Asaad Zaghloul El-Damarawy — hosted the public defense of the PhD dissertation submitted by Researcher Hussein Mohamed Hussein, registered for the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences, Animal Production (Poultry), on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Supervisory Committee:

Prof. Adel Sayed Abu Zaid – Professor of Poultry and Former Dean of the Faculty.

Prof. Saad Zaghloul El-Damarawy – Professor of Poultry and Head of the Animal Production Department.

Judgement and Discussion Committee:

Prof. Adel Sayed Abu Zaid – Professor of Poultry and Former Dean of the Faculty (Member of the Supervisory Committee and Chairman).

Prof. Saad Zaghloul El-Damarawy – Professor of Poultry and Head of the Animal Production Department (Member of the Supervisory Committee).

Prof. Yahya Aziz Marei – Professor of Poultry Nutrition, Animal Production Research Institute (External Examiner).

Prof. Suha Abdel Hamid Farag – Professor of Poultry Nutrition, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University (Internal Examiner).

   The committee discussed the dissertation in depth, and the researcher successfully answered all the questions. The committee praised the excellence of the dissertation in both content and value. They recommended that the researcher be awarded the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences Animal Production (Poultry).

   The defense was attended by Prof. Mohamoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean; Prof. Adel Helal, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; academic staff members, assistant staff and postgraduate students from the department and the faculty, the researcher’s family and friends.
