Within the framework of the Faculty of Agriculture — Tanta University’s commitment to the practical qualification of students and to linking the academic aspect with practical application, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem, Faculty Dean; Prof. Adel Helal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Samar Abdel Aziz, Director of the Central Laboratory; and Prof. Talaat Khedr El-Rais, Director of the Experimental and Research Center; and under the supervision of Engr. Asmaa Hafez, Director of the Plant Tissue Culture Unit, and Engr. Soheila Emara, Plant Tissue Culture Engineer, the first day of the specialized training course in Plant Tissue Culture was launched on Wednesday, 28 January 2025.

   The course is held at the Plant Tissue Culture Unit of the Faculty’s Research Laboratory, where trainees carried out hands-on practical applications of laboratory procedures and became acquainted with the fundamentals and techniques of plant tissue culture.
