    The public defense of the master's thesis submitted by the researcher Lamiaa Abdel Rahim Abdel Rasoul Ghazy took place at the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, on Sunday, November 30, 2025, under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad El Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research. It was hosted by the Department of Horticulture (Flowers and Ornamental Plants) headed by Prof. Fahmy Abdul Rahman Sadeq.

Thesis title: “Lettuce Production Using Different Growing Media under Urban Agriculture Conditions”

    The committee discussed the researcher’s thesis content thoroughly. The researcher answered all questions successfully. The committee commended the thesis for its excellence in content and value and recommended granting the researcher the Master’s degree of Agricultural Sciences, specializing in Horticulture – Vegetable Crops.
