At Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, under the leadership of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Genetics headed by Prof. Amira Al-Kreidy, Professor of Genetics, hosted the public defense of the master’s thesis submitted by student Aya Atef Fathy Zidan enrolled for the master’s degree at the faculty’s Department of Genetics. The thesis is titled "Histological and Molecular Evaluation of the Effects of Some Plant Extracts on Lead Toxicity using Rats."

The committee commended the outstanding quality and content of the thesis and recommended awarding the student the Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, specializing in Genetics.
