A Symposium Titled “Carbon Footprint” at Tanta Faculty of Agriculture

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, and Prof. Mahmoud Farouk Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Community Service Sector in collaboration with Education and Student Affairs Sector call students, academic staff, assistant staff and administrators to attend a symposium titled “Carbon Footprint”. It is held on Wednesday, March 3, 2025, at 12 p.m. in Conference Hall at the faculty, under supervision of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Sherif Gabr, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Adel Helal, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. It is the first of a series of symposiums organized under the program “Our Environment is Our Life”.

 The symposium features lectures by:

• Prof. Hanem Abdel Rahman Al-Sheikh, Professor of Animal Nutrition at Animal Production Research Center and Ministry of Agriculture, and an Expert of Carbon Footprint.

• Dr. Wafaa Al-Serengawy, Manager of the Technical Office at Environmental Affairs Authority in Gharbia Governorate.
