The Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, held the “Discounted Goods Exhibition” on Monday, 19 October 2026, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, and Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; under the leadership of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Adel Helal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and in the presence of Prof. Sherif Gabr, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Amgad El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and the directors of the faculty’s centers and units. 

   The exhibition was attended and inaugurated by Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, who expressed his pleasure at holding the event. The exhibition featured fresh products from the Faculty of Agriculture, including vegetables and honey, alongside a wide range of consumer goods offered at reduced prices.

   The Vice President highlighted the importance of organizing such exhibitions on a regular basis, as they represent one of the university’s contributions to alleviating the cost-of-living burden on its staff members. 

   He also praised the participation of outstanding students in organizing the exhibition and commended their remarkable attendance, taking commemorative photographs with them in recognition and encouragement of their active role.
