At the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad Abdel Ghafar El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and hosted by the Department of Plant Protection, headed by Prof. Sobhi Abdel Rahim Hamed, the public defense of the master’s thesis submitted by Researcher Nadia Abdel Razek Mohamed El-Naggar — who is registered for the Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences in the Department of Plant Protection, specializing in Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology — was held on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

“Use of Modern Methods in Controlling Noxious Plants in Wheat Fields”

The researcher delivered an excellent presentation on the content of her thesis. The Judgment and Discussion Committee discussed the thesis with her, and she answered all questions and inquiries with confidence and competence. The committee commended the thesis presentation and its scientific value in terms of content and substance and recommended awarding the researcher the Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences (Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology).
The defense was attended by faculty members and supporting staff from the department and the faculty, researchers and postgraduate students from the faculty and faculties of agriculture at Egyptian universities and research centers, as well as the researcher’s family, relatives, and friends.
