Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; under the supervision of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, Prof. Sherif Abdel Wanis Gabr, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Wanis Gabr, Student Activities Coordinator; and in coordination with Mr. Gamal Helaly, Director of the Youth Welfare Administration, and Ms. Radwa Raafat, Activity Supervisor; the Faculty of Agriculture, in cooperation with the university's General Administration of Youth Welfare (Cultural Activities Department), organized an awareness seminar entitled “Energy Conservation,” on Thursday, July 16, 2026. 

   The seminar aimed to raise awareness of the importance of adopting daily practices that promote the efficient use of energy and to foster a culture of the sustainable use of electricity and energy as both a national responsibility and a responsible civic behavior.

   The seminar was delivered by Engr. Mohamed Ahmed El-Qazzaz, Director of the Energy Conservation Department at the West Delta Electricity Sector.
