Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; under the supervision of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, Prof. Sherif Abdel Wanis Gabr, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Wanis Gabr, Student Activities Coordinator; and in coordination with Mr. Gamal Helaly, Director of the Youth Welfare Administration, and Ms. Radwa Raafat, Activity Supervisor; the faculty held its final educational seminar of the academic year on Monday, July 20, 2026, entitled: “Sixth-Generation Warfare and Its Impact on Egyptian National Security.”

   The seminar was delivered by Prof. Essam El-Baaly, Professor of Agricultural Extension at the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University. It was organized by the faculty's Youth Welfare Administration in cooperation with the university's General Administration of Youth Welfare (Cultural Activities Department).

   The organizers expressed their sincere appreciation to Prof. Essam El-Baaly for his informative presentation, which provided a comprehensive explanation of the concept of sixth-generation warfare. The seminar highlighted how this form of warfare relies primarily on intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, robotics, and autonomous weapons, rather than conventional direct combat.
