At the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, and Prof. Amgad Abdel Ghaffar El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, the public defense of the master's thesis submitted by researcher Sameh El-Sayed Abdel Fattah Khedr was held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in the Department of Crops, headed by Prof. Osama Abdel Hamid Abdel Razek.

The Judgment and Discussion Committee included a distinguished group of scholars:

• Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Nabi Ibrahim El-Gazzar — Research Professor, Maize Research Department, Field Crops Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center (Representative of the Supervisory Committee).

• Prof. Osama Abdel Hamid Abdel Razek — Professor and Head of the Department of Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University (Representative of the Supervisory Committee).

   The committee thoroughly discussed the content of the thesis with the researcher, who successfully responded to all questions. The committee commended the excellence of the thesis both in content and value and recommended awarding the researcher the Master’s degree of Agricultural Sciences (Crops).

   The defense was attended by faculty members, teaching assistants from both the department and the faculty, as well as the researcher's family and friends.
