Public Defense of the PhD Dissertation Submitted by Researcher Reham Mohamed Mohamed Abd El-Salam Hantash

   At the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, and under the patronage of Prof. Essawy Qassem Mahmoud, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad El-Gammal, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and hosted by the Crops Department chaired by Prof. Osama Abdel Hamid; the public defense of the PhD dissertation submitted by researcher Reham Mohamed Mohamed Abd El-Salam Hantash, registered for the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences (Crop Specialization), was held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Supervision Committee:

• Prof. El-Sayed Hamed El-Saeidy — Professor of Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University

• Prof. Nabil Morsi Mohamed Awad — Chief Research Professor at the Sugar Crops Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center

Judgment and Discussion Committee:

The committee included a distinguished group of eminent scholars:

• Prof. El-Sayed Hamed El-Saeidy — Professor of Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University

• Prof. Ramadan Ismail Ismail Kenany — Emeritus Research Professor at the Soil, Water and Environment Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center

• Prof. Nabil Morsi Mohamed Awad — Chief Research Professor at the Sugar Crops Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center

• Prof. Osama Abdel Hamid Abdel Razek — Professor and Head of the Crops Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University

   The committee thoroughly discussed the content of the dissertation with the researcher, and she successfully responded to all questions. The committee commended the excellence of the dissertation in both scientific content and applied value and recommended awarding the researcher the PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences (Crop Specialization).

  The defense was attended by a distinguished gathering of faculty members, teaching assistants, postgraduate students, in addition to the researcher’s family and colleagues.
