Prof. Magdi Sab', Tanta University President and Chairman of Deans’ Selection Committee at the University, has announced the start of applying for deanship of Faculty of Agriculture for professors who work at the Faculty with effect from Sunday, July 5^th to Sunday July 12^th.

   University President has declared that papers are checked legally and the initial list of applicants is announced on Monday, July 13^th, according to the nomination timetable. The committee begins to receive appeals on Tuesday, July 14^th and Wednesday, July 15^th to decide upon them and to announce the final list of candidates on Thursday, July 16^th. Files are checked, interviews are conducted and the final report is delivered on Saturday, July 18, 2020.

 

      There are conditions for applying for the deanship. An applicant must be on-the-job professor at the Faculty on the date of applying. He must not have had a criminal penalty for a crime stipulated in criminal law, a penalty for similar crimes stipulated in private law or a freedom restricting penalty for an offence prejudicial to honor or integrity, unless he had been rehabilitated. He must not have had disciplinary punishment unless it had been cancelled or deleted by the competent authority. The applicant must not be assuming a position in any party at the time of applying and throughout the period of deanship.
